Step into the artist studio at Ekely and discover the work of our current artist-in-residence, Fiene Scharp. Scharp is the inaugural artist-in-residence for the Munch-Goethe Residency – a collaboration with the Goethe-Institut.
During her residency, Scharp is working on three different series of intricate paper cuts, exploring the relationships between lines, structures, material and empty space. The Open Studio offers a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to experience the artist’s practice up close. Throughout the afternoon visitors are invited to explore works in progress alongside completed pieces, and engage in informal conversations with the artist.
Join us for an inspiring afternoon of art, conversation, and discovery. We look forward to welcoming you.
