«I RAND OG BILDE» is the main exhibition of Kunstbiennale//Dikemark 2026, presented at Bjerget, a distinctive site within the historic surroundings of Dikemark.

As a psychiatric hospital, Dikemark was a place shaped by the human mind and the environments in which it is formed and challenged. A place of movement into the unknown.

In the exhibition at Bjerget, contemporary art engages with something raw, restless, and unresolved. The exhibition encompasses the tactile, the unexpected, and that which verges on discomfort and vulnerability.

The edge (RAND) is a place where form can emerge. Images (BILDE) offer possibilities for shaping experiences that cannot be fully articulated through language.

Curatorial team: Tina Skedsmo and Vibeke Christensen, Mesén

The biennial is part of Kunst rett vest. Asker is the host municipality for the 2026 edition.
