On the occasion of the exhibition’s final day, Professor Hans-Jørgen Wallin Weihe will offer insights into the history of child welfare institutions and the care of children from both a national and international perspective, and how these historical measures point forward to today’s care institutions and current challenges.
The theme is further elaborated by Hans-Jørgen Wallin Weihe in a concluding essay in the book Valmueslekten. The book is available for purchase at Kunsthall Dikemark throughout the exhibition period.
