Valmueslekten is a book and photographic project based on the former institution Toftes Gave, located on Helgøya in Ringsaker municipality. Toftes Gave was a boys’ home established at the farm Sund in 1875, and was Norway’s first publicly run child welfare institution.

13:00 Exhibition opens
14:00 Conversation with artist Marit Arnekleiv, designer Marte Meling Enoksen, and author Eivind Hofstad Evjemo. The conversation is moderated by Eivind Slettemeås from Harpefoss Hotel art arena. The conversation will be followed by a reading by Eivind Hofstad Evjemo.

📍How to get to Dikemark: We encourage all visitors to travel by public transport by train to Asker station and then bus 280 towards Dikemark/Heggedal (departures every 10 minutes on weekdays/every 20 minutes on weekends). If you are coming by car, there is free parking in the area.
