Welcome to an artist talk and guided tour of the newly opened exhibition Eye of a Water – ዐይነ-ውሃ, where Robel Temesgen will take us through the exhibition and share insights into his work.

Eye of a Water – ዐይነ-ውሃ envisions Nitja’s exhibition space as a riverbed. The walls are covered with paintings on goatskin parchment, and visitors are invited to complete the work through their own presence – as bodies of water.

The exhibition explores water not only as a resource, but as a relational being. Temesgen investigates what it means to be shaped by water, to communicate with it, and to think through its rhythms and currents. How might such questions be articulated through art, rituals, and gestures?

The event is open to all.
Participation is included in the admission.
The tour will be held in English.

Welcome!
