Oslo Kunstforening welcomes 2026 with the group exhibition Forestill deg at du faller [Imagine you are falling], featuring works by Per Christian Brown, Book & Hedén, Hege Nyborg, Helene Sommer, and Thorbjørn Sørensen. The exhibition opens Thursday 29 January, and runs until Sunday 29 March.

Over the past ten years, the artists have established a shared platform for conversations, discussions, and exhibitions. In Forestill deg at du faller, they take as their point of departure the inherent history of objects—their use and biography. The dense and complex relationships between objects and their surroundings are manifested in individual works comprising painting, photography, video, sculpture, and installation. The object can be said to exist in a space between nature and culture, as a materialization of the past in the present.
