With The Dump I–III, Sæterdal wants to shine a spotlight on the global garbage crisis. The motifs are based on photographs the artist herself took at a garbage dump in Main during a trip to the USA in 2017.

In connection with the exhibition at SOFT, Sæterdal is launching a monograph based on The Dump I–III.

The publication, with texts by Hilde Østby, Nina M. Schjønsby, Vibeke Hermanrud and photos by Marie Sjøvoll, illuminates the work from different professional perspectives and will be available for sale in the gallery throughout the exhibition period.
