During the autumn school holiday, Bærum Kunsthall invites children and families to an open workshop inspired by Gelawesh Waledkhani’s exhibition MîLKAN – A Place I Never Left.

This week, you can try embroidery, inspired by a piece made by the artist’s mother, which is on display in the exhibition. Can you embroider an animal or a plant that reminds you of a place you have lived or a particular time in your life?

You are also welcome to let your imagination run wild, play, experiment and create freely with the materials available in the workshop.

The workshop is free and open to everyone.
