Family workshop: Watercolor painting with artist Madelon Verbeek

  • 12:00
    17:00

Welcome to a family workshop with artist Madelon Verbeek during Oslo Art Weekend!

In the workshop, we explore watercolor, paper and collage, looking at how observations, memories, objects and things we notice in everyday life can become images and stories of our own.

Madelon Verbeek works with painting, mosaic and textiles, and sees her works as “diary-like patchworks” of social observations, personal interactions, news images, art historical references and everyday moments. These function as time capsules for her, allowing her to remember a specific moment that would otherwise disappear from memory.

The workshop is free and open to everyone. Drop-in.
