Deichman Bjørvika

Institution

Deichman Bjørvika opened in 2020, right in the heart of Oslo. As part of what the library offers the public, the city’s main library also focuses on contemporary art. Throughout the building—tucked between bookshelves and reading areas—you’ll find temporary exhibitions, mainly featuring artists who live and work in Oslo. Through its exhibition program, Deichman Bjørvika aims to make contemporary art accessible to everyone, no matter their background or experience with art.
