Tuesday-Thursday we invite children, young people and adults from the local community to participate in workshops in Rudolf Nilsens Plass. We will facilitate three/four different "stations" where invited and interested people can make sculptures and participate physically in different ways with clay as the main material. We will facilitate which the age groups present.
The project takes as its starting point the history of the place and creates a connection between past and present through participatory art practice.
The use of clay and brick, materials that are linked to the area's building history, emphasizes the material connection to the place and makes it possible for the participants to work tactilely with history.
The project is part of Stedsveven, initiated by the Oslo municipality's art collection, the Ministry of Culture.
