Welcome to the opening of ‘Kom og hils på arbeideren, da!’. For two weeks in the end of May, the Oslo municipality's bronze sculpture at Rudolf Nilsens plass, made by Knut Steen in 1954, will be added a large staircase construction to give the public the opportunity to get closer to the artwork. Artist Stefan Schröder is behind this intervention, which will be on display until May 31. The project is part of Stedsveven, a site- and time-specific art commission to Tenthaus Art Collective, focusing on three different locations in Tøyen/Gamlebyen, initiated by Oslo Art Collection.
