Kunstnernes Hus

Institution

Kunstnernes Hus (The Artists' House) is an artist-run foundation that exhibits Norwegian and international contemporary art. Besides exhibitions, we offer a program of artist talks, film screenings, tours, debates, open studios and performances.

Our independent cinema Kunstnernes Hus Kino opened in 2016, screening recent feature films, genre-challenging documentaries and films made by both Norwegian and international visual artists and independent filmmakers.

The newly opened eatery and café Kunstnernes Jur aims to be a vibrant meeting place for artists, neighbours and visitors alike. Enjoy a variety of breakfast and lunch offers and freshly baked goods from Mjøl.
